čarav (chav) tro jilo: literally, "I eat your heart". An untranslatable expression of politeness, thanks, request, tenderness. The verb čarav (chav) can apply to various parts of the body, according to the situation and the person to whom one is speaking. Only older (more highly respected) people may use these expressions when addressing younger people. The reverse is unacceptable.
